Bridget Jones 2: The edge of reason just might be the best movie that had portrayed real love despite of it all. It features Renee Zellweger in the role of Bridget Jones, a British Journalist who's a madly in love with her boyfriend, Mark Darcy, portrayed by Colin Firth.
Their relationship is almost perfect, until Rebecca, an Australian lawyer, was assigned to London to work with Mark. Bridget loses all her nerves to this new woman thinking that the only reason why Mark was keeping her is because he was only waiting for the right woman to come along.
Obviously Bridget was wrong, her belief only got worse because of what her friends say. She finally broke up him and she left for London to do an assignemnt with her ex-lover which was played by Hugh Grant. She almost fell for him the second time around if not for the abrupt appearance of Thai prostitute.
About to return to London, she was held at the airport for possession
of illegal drugs which was planted unto her package. She was held at the Bangkok women's correctional for a couple of days until her name clears up. All hell has broken lose for her until Mark came to the rescue.
Mark on the other hand, upset
