I believe saying that psychological disorders are linked to ones surroundings or levels of stress is correct. I feel that this would affect ones psychological well being indefinitely. In a situation where the mind has no positive feedback or no healthy challenges it can be damaged or changed severely. The mind can be strong at times but also is very weak, and under sustained stress it could crack. When a person has no where to go and no one to help they will change their thinking and behaviors to try to help themselves. In some cases they will develop disorders.
