Patrick and Freddy
The recess bell rings at Madison Elementary School. Freddy the most popular 5th grade boy runs out with a kick ball and starts naming people he wants on his team. Out of nowhere Freddy pokes his head out and asks “Can I be on your team?” Patrick answers him very rudely saying “I don’t play with losers like you!” Freddy was mad, “I’m sick of you picking on kids like me, let me play with you guys.” Patrick proudly says I want fast runners on my team and you are not fast, your fat. Freddy answers “I might be the fastest kid here but I bet I bet I could beat you in kick ball any day. Patrick got really frustrated hearing Freddy talking about beating him, so he decides that if the two of them have a race, and Freddy wins then he could be on the team. Freddy accepts the bet and Patrick announces to everyone, “Today after school me and this fatty Freddy will race from school to Seven- Eleven. Come and watch me beat this fatty.”
Beep! The school bell rings, school is over and the race will start very soon. Everyone met up by the swing set. Patrick was waiting on the side walk stretching his legs out as Freddy walked up to him. Freddy stuck out his had to wish Patrick good luck, but Patrick just turned his head and said “I don’t need any luck.” Sally Patrick’s girl friend yells “ready, set, go!” Patrick dashes off very fast and disappears turning the corner.
