For this assignment I decided to do my own personal experience and talk about the store Walmart. I live down the street from the store, so I have to go there often and I don’t care much for the store. It’s always too many people in the line and the cashiers to be clueless or just too slow. If I was a manager of Walmart I would definitely want to change the speed process of the cashiers, because I know many people complain about that as well. For training I would do choose the living case study, because the trainees can talk to the employees and fix the relevant problem that is slowing everyone down.
To start with the organization analyses I would want all the employees and trainees to have a meeting, to talks about the goals and what they want accomplish for training. I would also check the finances to see if we can afford certain things for the program. Another thing I would want the employees are available to be trained, because it important for everyone to know what they’re doing for the goal to be effective. On the other hand, I would want to make a survey on what was the past training programs was like to see how the other employee and trainees felt about it. Next, for the task analysis I would look at their past task analysis and have the employee perform on the cashier. This will help me figure out what tasks that need to be worked on or maybe is it the equipment that needs to be fixed. Then, for person analysis, I would use the performance appraisal
