Before there was anything, there lived a mighty God. Her name was Starlarian Harlethian. She was the perfect image of woman, even though she had weird pointed ears. She had lovely, long, silky, auburny red hair and was proud of this more than anything else. Starlarian always carried a quickdagger that she could draw from her moleskin pouch in the blink of an eye. She was a master swordswoman. Unfortunately, in this barren land, there was another holy god. His name was Testuch. He was quite the opposite of Starlarian. Where Starlarian had pointed ears, Testuch had short, stubby ears with the tips appearing to be ripped off. While Starlarian’s skin tanned and satin- like, Testuch’s skin had a faint trace of green and was covered with battle scars which showed the epic journey he had travelled. Testuch’s head was completely bald. The tip of his nose was nowhere near centre and twisted to the right about 30 degrees. Starlarian and Testuch had totally different ambitions. Starlarian wanted to create a race of beings to bring peace, harmony and love to a new world which she would call Earth, a place which was meant to be a very happy place full of love, while Testuch, who adored war, wanted a race to conquer the whole world so Testuch would be the God of all Gods and all the creatures would bow down to him. Earth was made, but a problem arose. The problem was, they both wanted the same land for their new creatures. Trying to negotiate what should be done, Starlarian asked Testuch to leave the land alone so that her race could live there. In return, she offered Testuch her treasured quickdagger. Testuch, who was very independent and hated taking orders from others, snorted at Starlarian nastily and knocked her dagger
