The Lord’s Supper

THE LORD’S SUPPER SERVICE

Jesus gave the church two ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s supper. Baptism is the doorway into the local church, identifying the believer with Christ and the body of believers. The Lord’s supper sets forth his death until he comes.

I Corinthians 11:26:

For as often as eat this bread, and drink this cup,ye do shew(proclaim) the Lord’s death until he comes.
