In today's time religion in the military has grown very strong verses just 5/6 yrs ago. Before the Iraq War, religion was hardly ever noticed or spoken out generally. I find that amazing. Being a true believer and follower of God, to see so many people turn to him in the time of War. Did people not know that there is a war going on constantly? We are fighting against the principalities of this world. If you read Ephesians 6:12 it reads,"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places". What this means is this. These who are not "flesh and blood" are demons over whom Satan has control. They are not mere fanasies-they are very real. We face a powerful army whose goal is to defeat Christ's church. When we believe in Christ and join his church, these beings become our enemies, and they try every device to turn us away from Christ and back to sin. Although we are assured of victory, we must engage in the
struggle until Chris comes, because Satan is constantly battling against all who are on the Lord's side. We need supernatural power to defeat Satan, and God has provided that in his Holy Spirit within us and his armor surrounding us. If you feel discouraged, remember Jesus'
