This experiment was done to find out the affects of various types of light on bean plants. The hypothesis was If Blue light helps plants grow better in height and 3 bean plants are grown in Artificial Light, Natural light, and no light than, the bean plant that is under artificial light will grow best. It is evident from the average class data that length of the bean plant in cup c grew the most. It grew approximately 29 cm in height. Grown in the absence of light are said to be etiolated. Etiolated plants lack chlorophyll, are tall and spindly with long internodes and have small leaves that have failed to expand (1). This does not support the hypothesis stated earlier.
