Money and “El Macizo de Peñas Blancas” by Allan Bolt

Currently, we are facing one of the greatest tragedy in Nicaragua, we are destroying our beautiful reserves which are our main channel of oxygen. As it was explained in  the conference, some of the business that can be done within the resources available in our country are:  coffee, cacao, bees, and water.  In this paper, two of the methods are going to be explain throughout.

First, the idea proposed in the conference was to use the waste of the coffee.  One of the most shocking information is that in the production of coffee only 20 percent is used, the other 80 percent is launched to waste.  With the 80 percent waste might be transformed in molasses, which is thick, dark brown syrup obtained from raw sugar during the refining process, a version of which is used in baking.  Moreover, the wood from the coffee plant can be consumed to produce furniture.  An important fact is that the wood made from the coffee plant have a high quality and long duration, but one of the problem faced within the producers are the machinery and the production of the wood.
