Global Warming has become a household topic in the past few years. Some think that it is just a phase that the Earth is going through, while others see it as a major problem that could seriously effect the earth, possibly in our lifetime. There are many things people can factor into their daily lives to slow down the process of global warming, but many do not because they don’t know how global warming will affect them.
There are many causes of global warming. Scientists have determined that a number of human activities adding to global warming by contributing excessive amounts of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases accummulate in the atmosphere and trap heat that normally would exit into outer space. This leads to excess heat being trapped inside of the atmosphere, which creates a hotter planet.
Some of the effects of global warming are devastating. Warmer weather makes for more hurricanes world wide. Glaciers melt more and more everyday. The cold melt water goes into the water system in which a lot of marine life lives in. Some of these animals are not accustom to the colder water, which leads to death.
