Introduction.
I. How many of you have fast cars?
A. Let me rephrase that. How many of you think you have fast cars?
B. Do you race it for money?
(a.) Answer NO. That’s because you don’t have a fast car.
(b.) Answer Yes. Then I have a race for you.
II. Now you have a good idea what am going to be talking about. Cars.
A. Not just any cars, but Ford. And not just any old Ford.
B. My mystic and beautiful 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra.
III. Today I will be speaking to you about the history of Ford and also my 2004 Ford
Mustang Cobra SVT.
Body.
I. In 1863 the man who started the whole Ford Revolution was born.
A. Who am I talking about, none other then Mr. Henry Ford. The founder of the Ford
Motor Company.
B. It wasn’t until 1903 that the Ford Motor Company was founded by the Malcomson
Group. That year also the first Model A Ford was produced in a rented plant.
II. In 1904 through
1908 the company under went many changes.
A. In 1904 the company put up its first plant on the corner of Beaubien Street, in Detroit.
1. That very plant is still up and running today, and being restored.
B. In 1906, Ford was the number one car producer in America. Henry Ford was also the President and Majority owner of the Company.
C. And then in 1908 the first Model T was made. After that nothing exciting happened for the next 25 or so years.
III. In 1932 they introduced the V-8 engine which is extremely popular today.
A. Some years later in 1947 a tragedy struck the Ford Company, when Henry Ford died at the age of 84.
B. His son Henry Ford the II took over the company then.
IV. The company still stood strong after the death of the founder.
A. It probably even got a little stronger, with the introduction in 1964 of the pony.
Yes that’s right the Mighty Mustang.
V. With the death of Henry Ford the II in 1987, the company was left in good hands.
A. A new line up of cars promised business to proceed.
B. In 2002 they new design was unveiled for the 2004 Mustang. The real last pony.
Body Part II.
I. My 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra.
A. First of it’s the last remaining real pony.
B. Very fast. Just to be specific 700 horsepower.
II. The eye catcher.
A. The color of the car. Its mystic, it changes in the color of the sun, Its purple, blue, and green.
