Scrimmaging for something to say

Some words that would hold a meaning

The facts

That no one could ever seem to uphold

And alas I stumbled upon my speech

There is nothing left but the truth to be told

These past four years, we have seen our share

Of sorrow, and loss and pain

Schedule changes, riots and principals

Who weren’t around long enough to know their names

Every year a teacher would step into our lives

They would say their promises proud

To be here on graduation day,

Our senior sash, we held with pride

The teachers that are still here.

I began to think of the times we shared

Of each laugh tear and smile

To most of us this school was our home,

No matter how much we were in denial.

The pep rallies we had we rocked the house

Each football game we watched with pride

And though it was probably our toughest challenge

We made the best out of CSI.
