Have you ever wondered how the universe we live in today was made. One of the theory’s about how the universe was made is The Big Bang Theory. According to it, the universe was created between 10 billion and 20 billion years ago. It was a comic explosion that hurled matter in all directions across space. It is the dominate scientific theory about how the universe was created.
In the year of 1927, a Belgium priest Georges Lemitre, was the first person to propose that it all began with a explosion of a primeval atom. His proposal came after observing red shifts in distant nebulas by astronomers. Then he showed them a model of the universe based on relativity. Years later, Edwin Hubble found evidence to help his theory be true. He found out that galaxies that were far away from us were moving away from us at speeds that were the same as there distances from us.
The big bang was suggest, it explains why all of the other galaxies are moving so fast away from us. The bang also left behind a cosmic background radiation (the glow left behind from the explosion itself). The theory received its strongest confirmation when the radiation was discovered by two scientist Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson in 1964. They later won the Nobel Prize for their discovery. The Big Bang Theory will probably never be proven even though it is widely accepted, but it still leaves people with a number of though, unanswered questions.
There are also people who believe that it expanded like a balloon. That is one of the misconceptions surrounding the Big Bang theory. There are also ones that state that we tend to imagine the singularity as a little fireball appearing somewhere in space, there are many experts that
