Choices that we make can either be good or bad. There are many things that affect the choices that we make, and one factor that plays into the choices that we make is Peer Pressure. Peer Pressure is the affect that your friends have on you to take an action that you earlier had not planned on. As teens we try to fit in with the “crowd”, even the most focused teens can even be pulled into the group of naпve teens doing something wrong, sometimes we do it without knowing and other times we do it without any conscience that we did it. Some common things that peer pressure are a factor in are, one, drugs use, and alcohol and smoking. Another crime that is sometime caused because of peer pressure is vandalism.
Choices aren’t always made by peer pressure another factor is a role model. For many kids their role models are a favorite singer, athlete, or their parents. Based on what they do, we think its right to do. As we become older, sometimes we change who our role models are but at the same time, we can keep the same one, we may just have a better understanding of what to do. We will always stand up for the one that we admire, sometimes even if we know that everyone else is right and that you’re wrong. Sometimes our views of our role model are that, well if he/she can do it, so can I and it’ll be okay, but that is very untrue. If your role model happens to drink alcohol more than usual, then we may get the impression that we can too, but we cannot

Many teens are tempted to be involved in this act for a cool pair of sunglasses or a cool shirt, or even food, but this is never right. If you get caught shoplifting there are many punishments that could be bestowed upon you. If you simply don’t have the money for something, then you should just wait and save money or ask you mother of father, but never steal. Shoplifting can really hurt the stores, and business’ budget.
Some other factors that decide in the choices that we make are, what is going onin your life. Sometimes we do stuff to put off other things going on in life. For instance, taking out your anger on someone else and hurting them, if your parents grounded you then you may become mad and know you cannot
do anything to them, so you may have to take it out on friends, which is not a good idea. The events that could occur
