I wanted to answer this question from the lecture because i have a few examples of relationships separated by distance.
First, a family relationship. When I was 11 years old, my family moved from Massachusetts to Vermont. I had an extremely close relationship with my extended family and was very upset about this move. I had to change the way I interacted with the people that lived in mass. I had to start talking on the phone to my grandmother and cousins. I had to try and fit in as much information as i could in our short weekend visits. In the long run it changed how I interacted with my family in a whole diffrent way then because I had to. I do have to say it changed the way we communicate even today over 17 years later. We are not as close but because of the close foundation that was established before we moved, it has been easy to adapt to the changes.
Second, When I met the woman that became my wife, I was looking for work. I had a decent job but the pay was terrible. Also, I knew that If I wanted to get ahead in my
