When I went off to college, I really had no clue of what I wanted to do. I only know that you had to go to college in order to get the right kind of job that would make good money. The only problem was that I did not know what the right kind of job was for me. So, I ended up going to college, taking all the required classes I needed and graduating without knowing what I was going to do with my degree. In the back of my head, I kept on thinking of how my mother had urged me to major in something that would make good money once I graduated like business or nursing, but I was stubborn and wanted to major in something liked instead. I ended up majoring in history and if that was not bad enough, I also minored in philosophy. Because I did not know the kind of job I wanted when I graduated, I was not prepared and could not find a job. I ran into the problem that most graduates run into who do not graduate with a specific job in mind, I was overqualified because I had a college degree and under qualified because I did not have enough job experience.
