Our government is using the Patriot Act and the Patriot Act Two in opposition to the Constitutionally guaranteed
rights enumerated in the Bill of Rights. These acts were passed in response to the threat of terrorism after the crisis of 9-11. This violation of the constitutionally protected rights has weakened the fiber of the country and stiffened the resolve of those that might threaten us. Our loss of reasonable search and seizure is but one of the many liberties lost in the name of safety.
The Patriot Acts make it possible for the government to go behind the back of its population without any warrants or any notice and invade their privacy and also take away liberties in which we are guaranteed
in the constitution. Amendment IV in the Bill of Rights says that people have the right to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures. The Patriot Act violates all those liberties.
The government uses 9-11 to justify all of this. Many facts about 9-11 are ignored or simply avoided by government. This should be a warning sign to american people. The american society seems to have forgotten what has brought us to this state of living with government influence.
When a person is being stalked, they have a normal feeling of unsafeness and frights.
