September 11 - Search in Google

When you search “September 11” in google there will be articles and pictures on what happened that sad September day. The meaning that comes up for that date is “The September 11 attacks were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks by the Islamic terrorist group Al-Qaeda on the United States on the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001.”(“September 11 attacks”) Many people, including me, believe that the Government is holding back information on what really happened that day and how it all really went down, many articles consist of information that say it was an inside job and that it wouldn’t have happened if Bush and his people weren’t apart of it and helped in a way.

There are many articles and opinions on 9/11 if you search for it. Some people believe that it really was an inside job, that bush new exactly what was going to happen and that’s why he didn’t panic about it when it went down. If you search up “what really happened on 9/11” most of the articles that come up will talk about how the government planned this and how nothing they say adds up. For example, In the article by John Kaminski, he talks about how 9/11 wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for the “willful failure of the American defense system.”(Kaminski) and he also states “9/11 was a hoax. This is no longer a wild conspiracy assertion; it is a fact,” (Kaminski) in the beginning of the article. He talks about things that have to do with how America’s defence system was told to stand down when they found out about the planes crashing, how the twin towers collapsed, how the FBI said they had no idea this was going to happen but they had been preparing for something like this for years, and how the government was able to find the suspects names a couple hours after the attack. People demand information and the truth, this is why people rebel against the government because we don’t feel safe, not even in our own country.

On September 11th, 2001 “At 9:59 am, the South Tower collapsed, 56 minutes after being struck.” and “The North Tower collapsed at 10:28 am, after burning for 102 minutes.”(“Collapse of the World Trade Center”). Many people believe that the way the towers collapsed were similar to the way a controlled demolition would collapse but many also believe that there is absolutely no way it could have been controlled. In an article about the investigation of the twin towers collapsing, it talks about how the investigation went and what they supposedly found on why the towers collapsed the way they did. One of the many reasons the towers collapsed was because of the force and damage the impact created and how the “heat-weakened structural components”("About the NIST World Trade Center Investigation.") which caused the towers to fall the way it did. They explained that “In WTC 1, the fires weakened the core columns and caused the floors on the south side of the building to sag. The floors pulled the heated south perimeter columns inward, reducing their capacity to support the building above.”("About the NIST World Trade Center Investigation.") and also that “In WTC 2, the core was damaged severely at the southeast corner and was restrained by the east and south walls via the hat truss and the floors. The steady burning fires on the east side of the building caused the floors there to sag.”("About the NIST World Trade Center Investigation.") which basically means that the towers collapsed due to the fact that it was too much for the buildings to handle and the fire was the cause of the collapse. Many people believe this because obviously it comes from the government and the $16 million investigation can’t be wrong but I for one do not believe that such little reason could cause a vertical and sort of perfect collapse.

I took my research much further and decided to look into conspiracy theories on why the towers really collapsed the way they did that day. There are many theories to why the towers vertically collapsed but it’s not possible that fires and impact damage were the only reasons to why they did, there must be something the government is hiding or holding back and in an article titled “Why Did the World Trade Center Collapse? Science, Engineering, and Speculation” by Thomas W. Eagar and Christopher Musso, they support my theory that the government isn't saying the complete truth. They talk about things like how the fire was not hot enough to burn through the steel and that “the fact that there were 90,000 L of jet fuel on a few floors of the WTC does not mean that this was an unusually hot fire. The temperature of the fire at the WTC was not unusual,”(Eagar and Musso). In the article it explains that the kind of fire the impact created was a diffuse fire which is similar to a fireplace fire, thus, saying that the heat was not strong enough to burn through the steel of the towers.
