Some say that the world would be a better place now if the automobile had never been invented.
Imagine that you have to go to your office, which is five kilometres away by walk. And you got up late from bed and your boss yells at you if you are late by a few minutes. Then what do you do? I hope there will not be any unfortunate person than this in the world. So, I personally feel and believe that we are very fortunate to have automobiles invented and prepared for us. So, I do not support the statement that the world would be a better place without automobiles.
To be honest, I personally feel that automobiles are a boon in todayЎ¦s world. In this age of rapid technological advancements, we must run along with time. Otherwise time will leave us behind and will proceed at its own pace. So, in order to cope up with time we must also be faster and that is possible only with the help of automobiles. If there are no automobiles practically I feel it is not possible to achieve this. Automobiles today have replaced the old buffalo carts of the past, which are used for transportation of goods as well as human beings. To reach a destination, which is at reasonable distance takes around 2 to 3 days, which I am sure no child of today can do because they are used to this fast world. As a matter of fact we also cannot do that now.
