I agree that televisions can be a big problem in some homes, but I also believe that television can be a helpful tool. Many children can learn from a kid TV shows quicker than they can in a class room or from their parents. TV is also one of the main forms of entertainment, especially for those who are disabled and can’t go anywhere.
Learning videos and TV shows for kids are very useful. I know children that aren’t the quickest at learning new things, but can pick up quite a bit from the television and remember it. TV is good for children who are visual learners, and it also helps out the parents by demonstrating matters that they can barely get into the child’s head by themselves.
Television is the main entertainment for people like me. When I get home from working and running around, I want to relax. The way I prefer to do so is to watch TV. I wouldn’t want to listen to music because I do that all day while I’m working, and listening to the radio gets on my nerves eventually because I can’t see what’s going on. Also, if I’ve had a stressful day, I can find a comedy on TV to relieve that stress
