Recently I was lucky enough to score an invite to a Gatsby party, which I unintentionally won on a bar bet. Well, I was not about to turn an opportunity down like that. So, two days later, I readied myself, and went out to his residence for the party reception.
It was stunning, lights music, dancing, all the glitz you could get in New York, all in one place. There was food for every palette. From meats to salads, and the deserts! There were mousses, cakes, sponges, a connoisseur’s delight. There were lavish dancers and very interestingly dressed woman, made many a married mans eyes wonder…much to the disbelief of their wives.
During the party a swell of laughter and cheer echoed from the far corner of the sitting room, I made my way over and shoved my face in-between the shoulders of two fat greasy men.
