Ok, so here's the situation: I've gotten a great deal of responses on this, and I've started making a schedule. 2-3 people are moving in August/September. I want at least 4-5 people in the house over the summer. The house can accommodate about 6 people at the most year round. Ergo: I am looking for two permanent roommates to move in from mid-June to early July, and 1-2 summer subletters (June-early August).
I don't know about the outside smoking rule. I mostly smoke while I work/write, so even I would probably be against it. From what I understand, you're looking for a more or less permanent place.
It's about ten minutes south of the Blue Line California station. I
don't have any pictures (I don't have a digital camera), but describe
it fairly well. It's a two-story white behemoth with a live-in
basement w/ separate entrance that is gonna become a practice space.
It's five bedrooms, including one in the basement. Hardwood floors on
the first floor, linoleum on the second, except for most of the
bedrooms, which are carpeted. The house has been empty for about six
months, but the realtor will get to repairing it shortly (it should be
done by June 15th, he says). It's getting a new boiler and the roof is
getting fixed. Three
