“Clean your room,” my mom yells out to me. Cleaning the house was an every weekend type of thing for my family and me to do. As I was sickened by the way my room looked, an advertisement on the TV caught my eye. Hoping for something more exciting and interesting in my life I decided to investigate; it was a circular for Everest University. Hoping to go further in my life I decided to attend college. Going to college is real important to me because I want a promising career, a secure life for me, and have fun making money.
To begin with, having a promising career to me is one of the most important things that we all need in this world. Thought out the year and a half of me being out of school I realized that not have a good job isn’t going to get you anywhere. Working at McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King’s etc. they aren’t any type of promising job to have if you want to start to have a family and move out on your own. By having an associate’s in Accounting, I will be able to gain a career that will cover and meet my personal outlook and necessities. My personal necessities for a suitable career are ones that offer good benefits, timely pay, retirement plans, and most of all the opportunity for advancement in life. By obtaining an academic degree, my outlook of a career becomes more of a confident reality.
Second, my future is most important to me because without a high school or college degree you really can’t go anywhere in life. I want a life that I won’t have to worry about; worrying about if I have money to go out, if I have money to buy things that I need, if I have money to for me. Going to college and getting my associate’s in Accounting will be a good source of security in life for me, because there’s a lot of a different type of Accounting;
