Essay title: Best Friends
People of the world all have different personalities, but some are similar in nature. Not only do your actions reveal a lot about you, but also your friends reveal just as much. I know that different aspects of my personality are more dominant when I am with certain people. Two of my best friends, Rich and Tim, are very different from each other, although both have sparkling personalities. Tim is a bit older than me and is almost like my big brother that I have never had, while Rich is my age and has been my best friend since five years old.
Rich and I have been friends since we were in preschool. We have always shared our most enjoyable and trying times. For instance, every moment Rich and I are together, we always have fun. We are been able to laugh at ourselves, and we always think of some new inside joke to have the next day at school. With the rest of our friends, we have always been able to share our silly escapades and ridiculous humor and just sharing our stories brings back memories of more of our adventures. We have a great amount of fun together. We drive to hockey and sporting events for the school together and beforehand, we get ourselves dressed to suit the occasion.
On the other hand, when either Rich or I have a rough time, we are there for each other. When Rich's grandfather died, I was the one to come to his house and give him comfort. He was very upset and I was there for him to talk to. Then, when my grandmother was very ill and in the hospital, I was worried about my family. He was with me the whole time and assured me that everything was going to be fine. This was very good because he can always put a smile on anyone’s face, which came in handy for my family’s sake. He came with us to the hospital everyday and helped my grandmother keep strong through the time in there.
