Communication is a very wide subject, for this assignment we have to explain the formal and informal communication structures.
Formal communication structures
Formal communication is used in formal situations, logical. This means: meetings, contact with superiors, contact with guests and so on. In meetings you can recognize the formal structures, that is because there are a view guide lines for a formal meeting, that is that the meeting is scheduled in advance, arranged participants, preset agenda, and of course formal language. There are different ways to use formal communication, such as, face to face, phone calls, text messaging and e-mail. So long the talk is not about personal information and contains business information, it is formal communication. The formal language with guests is different; it is more a polite way of speaking with the guest. For example, I worked in an open kitchen on my intern and when people would ask me a question, it is very important to be polite and use the right kind of words.
