Essay title: Comparison: Computer to Life
Outline
Introduction: Have you ever had computer trouble? Well, I know many who have. I used my computer for everything, to shop, pay bills, mainly homework. One day I fell asleep and I woke up and turned off my computer because I left it running. When I woke up in the morning I turned it on and I got an error message "Missing or corrupted file, try re-installing windows to fix this problem" I was really upset all my work I had, and all my files I used for years were gone and there was nothing I could do about it. I had to redo all my homework papers I wrote. It was a complete pain, something quite a few of people go through. Sometimes life is like many of our computers. I have chosen to compare my life to a computer. Sometimes your computer runs good, sometimes it crashes, sometimes it runs slowly, and sometimes it gets a virus.
I. There has been many times in my life where it seems to go good like a new computer.
A. On my 18th birthday I won 50 bucks on my first scratch ticket I bought.
B. I had bay back ribs at The Texas Roadhouse; they made me get on this bull while everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to me.
C. My parents took pictures of me, so there friends and family would believe I actually did it.
D. And the waitress was great! That's rare at times.
Transition: Just when you think your computer is running great you get a virus.
II. Some events in life are just like a virus, unexpected and unwelcomed.
A. My grandmother got really sick when I was young and moved to Florida.
B. She was slowly dyeing for a long time
