Essay title: Date Rape
Date Rape
"Rape is recognized to be the most under-reported of all crimes, and date rape is among the least reported, least believed, and most difficult to prosecute, second only to spouse rape", stated an article written by Ellen Sweet concerning the subject of Date Rape. With new drugs and pressure from the media to be more sexually attractive, date rape is becoming more and more of a problem. Since this problem is not spoken of as often as any other type of rape, many men and woman are getting off from being prosecuted legally in front of a judge and jury because of their crime. First, she must choose appropriate attire to wear. A selection of clothing that will not mislead the boy and or reveal too much of the body is the best choice. A modest dress will show the boy that she respects her body. Secondly, with the appropriate attire, it is important that the girl is careful with the wording and or vocabulary that she uses, to not lead on the boy to think something that is not true. If she is clear in her communication, and is direct and clear about all subjects, especially her feelings for him, the boy is less
