DESCRIBING: AN OUTDOOR CONCERT
At first parking seemed to be extremely overpriced; thirty dollars to park in a parking lot full of trucks with grills and coolers full of beer in their beds. The music from the speakers that were about a mile or two down the road traveled into my car as if it were a ghost and took over my CD player. Suddenly the rap music that was being played was taken over by Big and Rich, one of country music's superstars.
The blazing sun felt like an oven compared to the nicely air conditioned vehicle. All around were people standing outside of their trucks or sitting on their tailgates. That must be where they got the term "tailgating" from. Thousands of people partying in a grass parking lot, grilling burgers, hot dogs, and even some steaks, drinking beers, and listening to the sound of a Tennessee natives guitar in the distance. The parking lot party felt like a community of friendly people that have known each other forever, but haven't seen one another in a long time.
The trip to the stadium was amusing, considering the people next to us walked a straight line that was in the shape of a circle. If it were possible to pick up and return all of the empty cans and bottles that we saw on the way I would probably have an extra five hundred dollars in my wallet. Some of the females flaunted themselves by wearing short skirts, cowboy hats, and cowboy boots. The vibration from the speakers slowly increased each step we took forward.
