Essay title: Difficult Relationships in Flipped by Wendelin Van Draanen

Have you ever had a relationship that was impossible to have? Well in the book Flipped by Wendelin van Draanen, the relationships between some of the characters look impossible to hold on to. Another relationship that was difficult would be Juliana and the sycamore tree. The first time Juliana had a relationship with the sycamore tree was when Bryce asked Juliana “Can you climb that high? This was when Juliana started the difficult relationship with the tree when Bryce got his kite up in the tree and Juliana came to get the tree down from the tree. What made the relationship difficult is when Juliana was up in the tree and lumber workers told Juliana “Hey you better come down from there, we’re taking it down.” That was the day when the relationship between Juliana and the tree ended as the lumber workers cut it down. This relationship was difficult because Bryce didn’t like it
