4. Satire is when witty language is used to convey insults or scorn. I feel that a use of satire in The Player is the fact that he murders somebody who he beieves mistakenly is trying to kill him. The fact that post murder he finds out that the person he murdered actually isn’t the one who is trying to kill him. Another great satire in this movie is the extended opening which was poking fun at the movie itself. The third use of satire I would say is the fact that no matter how hard the producer wants to get rid of his wife he is still with her in the end of the movie.
5. Exclusive release is a movie that premiers in restricted locations initially. A great example of an exclusive release is the movies viewed at the annual WonderCon movie festival in SanFrancisco, California. Some examples of these movies for 2006 are Ultimate Avengers: The Movie!, Broken Saints, The Fans' Tale of Firefly and Serenity-A Documentary.
