Essay title: First Amendment
The first Amendment was created for good intentions, meaning to give people the freedom that they believe that they deserve. But what people do not understand is that too much freedom and the American population will believe that they are the president and have the power to do or say anything they choose to. I do not think that all of this freedom is healthy, people should have some boundaries and they should know what they are.
In the first amendment it states that any American shall have freedom of speech. For one, that's not true, but that's beside the point. No one should have the right to have freedom of speech; they do not have control over their mouths most of the time. People are cruel and will deliberately say mean things to hurt one another. Now, I don't think that statement was created to hurt someone; I believe it was created to that people can speak their minds. But like I said too much freedom of speech and Americans will go crazy saying anything they want. People need to be controlled, that's why these laws we live by today were created, otherwise there would be total chaos.
It also states in the first amendment that the people have the right to peaceably assemble. Meaning that if people are not satisfied with what is going on, that they may protest or go on strike. This makes people power hungry, when people start to protest they think that they are in control over the government, this gives them too much adrenalin, and after a while too much adrenalin would probably turn into a riot. It's very common for this to happen. People should not have this right, this is very horrific when you get thousands of people together on a single day in a single neighborhood screaming and yelling about their thoughts. It's also scary when they start to get violent, people may start to get hurt, and I don't think that this is how the first amendment was suppose to be carried out.
Another key fact stated in the first amendment states that people have the right to petition the government for a redress of grievances, which
