This song is also the theme song for the main characters in the movie, Sam and Mikaela. The soundtrack for Transformers came out on July 3, 2007; which included performers such as The Used, Smashing Pumpkins, and Linkin Park. The soundtrack produced by Dairmuid Qunn and Jeff Aldrich under Warners Brothers Records, debuted at number 21 on the U.S Billboard 200, selling about 32,000 copies within its first week.
The Goo Goo Dolls formed in 1986 with John Rzeznik (vocals, guitar), Robby Takac (vocals, bass guitar), and George Tutuska (drums) in Buffalo, New York.
