The Hummingbirds

Once upon a time, in a village so remote and far away from everything else, there were two hummingbirds from two different tribes. These two tribes of hummingbirds were not enemies nor, were they acquaintances. The two tribes shared the village, which had the most abundance in flowers. The Lampornis tribe's nest was on one side of the village and the Colibri tribe's nest was on the other side of the village. A Lampornis female worker bird named Shelly would always go get nectar for the noble birds in her tribe. She would go to the same area every day. One day while she was getting the daily nectar she got stuck. She heard a sound of laughter from a tree above. It was Henry. Henry was the meanest worker bird from the Colibri tribe. After he was done laughing, Henry said, "I can't believe you fell for my trap! How could you be so stupid? Ha-ha." That day Shelly didn't get any nectar. When the noble birds asked where their nectar was se told them she didn't get any that day. The next day she went to the same exact spot and got caught in the same exact trap, and Henry said the same exact thing, "I can't believe you fell for my trap! How could you be so stupid? Ha-ha." Shelly didn't get any nectar for the second day in a row. Every day for a whole 2 weeks Shelly got stuck and the trap and didn't get any nectar. By then, the noble birds had gotten so angry with her they told the queen. The queen decided she would get the noble birds their nectar. The queen went to the same spot as Shelly and got stuck in the same trap, unable to back any nectar. The queen realized that this is why Shelly couldn't get any nectar. The queen told the noble birds what had happened and they were no longer angry with Shelly.
