Order or Chaos

How would the world be with chaos, and no government with laws, honor,

And respect? Respect, a strong leader, and laws are key to keeping things in order, and a

Civil and safe place to live in. In this essay, will discus a little about page 91 in "Lord of

the Flies" and the importance of this passage.

In this passage the groups laws and respect are starting to fade and fall

apart. Jake wanted to be chosen leader from the beginning, and still wants power over the

group. Ralph is struggling with holding his leadership and trying to keep the rules alive.

In the assembly that Ralph calls, Jack shouts at Piggy and Ralph shouts at Jack to stop.

This was Jacks time to rebel and show his rebellion towards Ralph and his way of lead-

ing and start a conflict with Ralph in front of the whole group, and get the group

on his side. Frightened about this Ralph yelled "Jack!" This didn't stop him. He finally

said "who cares about the rules?" "Who are you to tell us what to do?" Jack started

telling the group about hunting and how great it was. Suddenly the group got excited

started screaming, yelling, and acting like they were hunting. Ralph was nervous, and
