Abstract
Now a day, E-commerce has become a very popular medium of marketing, information retrieval and banking. The model of E-commerce is made like so, that the customer can have direct approach to the manufacturer. The role of retailer, wholesalers and other intermediates is completely vanished. Besides it, the concept of virtual malls has been come into existence. The customer can have quick access to a large range of products. This paper will present all the current trends and future trends and scope in E-marketing.

Introduction: What is E-Commerce?
E-com refers o the buying and selling of information as well as the product and services on Internet. E-com has eliminated the use of paper work and hence the business information is exchanged via electronic mails, Electronic data interchange (EDI), Electronic bulletin Boards, Electronic funds transfer and other network based technologies. Hence the process of business has been automated and the customer can have direct approach to the vendor. The advancement into the field of Information Technology is plying a vital role in the growth of business commerce.
Internet is a word wide information highway. It allows a lot of networks to be connected together or in other words we can say that it is a network of networks. It provides a huge platform for the customers as well as the vendors to sell and purchase an enormous range of products at one common place. It has eliminated the need of intermediates like wholesaler, distributors and retailers and thus the cost of supply chain has been shortened.
The E-Commerce v/s Traditional approach to the Customer

E-commerce has the following four categories of services:
1. Virtual malls:
Host multiple online merchants in a model very similar to a shopping mall. Hosted merchants gain exposure from traffic coming to the mall.
The mall gains through a variety of fees: listing fees, transaction fees, and setup fees. The customer can gain following benefits from the virtual malls:
• Branding—consumers may be more comfortable buying from a store listed on selected store
• Availability of digital wallets: customers register their shipping & billing information only once
• Availability of frequent shopper programs that reward consumers for shopping within the mall
• A search facility to locate products in mall stores
• . A recommendation service such as suggestions for purchasing a gift.
2. Business:
Almost 70% of the web links are made for the business purposes. Here the individuals, Organizations and the government sector come under a common place where each can interact with one another. Now a days business-to-business E-commerce is very much in demand now a days. Except this it also facilitates the following services:
1. The buyers and sellers can exchange goods and services
2. Negotiation between the buyer and seller
3. Posting request for quotations
4. Allows buyer to submit the request for goods and services
5. Market ware framework is supported that allows applications to be supported by a common set of structure and functions
6. Accounting and reporting about the transactions can be done
3. E-commerce Services:
E-commerce service allows a buyer to make his payment through digital wallets. It also helps to locate vendors and secure payments are done through authentication and authorization checks.
