MOVIES THAT SHOULD BE BOOKS AND VICE VERSA
ABSTRACT
I think that there are many books that should be movies and vice versa. Movies sometimes are good, or even start from a book, and sometimes books are made from movies and turn out good. One that thing that everybody can agree on is that they are both forms of entertainment and we all enjoy them. Examples of movies and books are The Harry Potter series and The Lord of the Rings series. They both have sold hundreds of millions of dollars through the selling of books and movies and this shows the continuous success of both series. There are other books that have become movies like The Outsiders, but the two examples I gave show the true success of a popular book or movie. Hopefully you enjoy these forms of entertainment as much as I do. Now books and movies have come along way and continue to entertain everyone in the world more and more each day. In conclusion, books and movies are both great ways to entertain yourself, but when you dig deep and actually find out what could make each movie or book better is always fun. We all can read books and say, "Oh I wish this was a movie because I think it would be great!" So if you ever catch yourself saying that, you are not the only one. I don't know everybody's opinions but there are numerous things we can think of that we can relate books and movies together. Books and movies are probably the greatest selling forms of entertainment for the longest period of time. Yes, Computers and Television have come a long way but in the end everybody still enjoys reading books and watching movies and I don't think anything will ever top what they do for the world.

One book that has enough interaction with the general public is the movie " A Child Called It." This is a book that is about one young boy who is being abused and harassed by his mother. He is being abused to the point where school councilors can see the bruises on his body. He is looking for a way out of all his problems but is afraid of what his mother will do if she finds out what he is trying to do. So he waits and waits for a long time before he finally decides that he needs to get out of all this mess. He eventually tells somebody and is sent to a foster home where he loved his new family very much. He eventually has to move back in with his mother and back to the abuse once again and that's where the book is ended. One thing that catches my eye first of all is that it is a true story. Everybody loves a true story so if it was made into a movie it would definitely make a lot of money. Another thing that would bring more attention to a movie like this is the fact that it shows crude and horrible things but on the other side they also show a positive outcome. When some people would see this movie, it could be more of a reality check. It could show everybody the harsh reality of the real world. That in every county or every state there are always people who would do this to there children and you may not even realize its happening right in front of your eyes. Another view you could get is a more negative view. People would think that maybe this movie shouldn't have been showed and it's a bad reputation for our country and its people. Either way it still draws attention towards the movie and makes money. It is easy to sit and read a book and just think, "Wow this boy was treated really badly," but to actually see it on a screen really makes you realize how horrible it is. Now that could be a negative for the movie but there will always be critics for every movie, just for this movie I am sure that the majority would approve of this being a good movie.
Another book that I think
