Essay title: On Freedom
Max Stirner said that humans cannot be free. Even if we liberate ourselves from a body of authority, say for example, our parents, we would always be under another body of authority or more, like school or office rules.
I am no stranger to authority. Despite my being knuckleheaded rule-breaking attitude, I still recognize my lack of freedom. I must agree with this philosopher, because with my countless wants and aspirations and my desire to fulfill all of it, I still cannot do most.
I was once asked what I would do had I been given the chance to do whatever I want for one whole day. I answered, "If that would be the case, I want to be all-powerful to do what I want.
