Essay title: Personal Goals
PERSONAL GOALS
The question "what personal goals I want to achieve in life" sounded very simple at first. But as I really began to think about the question I started to realize that it was not an easy question to answer because I had so many. However, I did manage to select some personal goals that I wanted to focus on while attending University of Phoenix.
By attending classes at University of Phoenix once weekly, I will be able to manage my time more efficiently between taking care of my child, work, and other aspects of my life. In 1998, I decided to give college a try once more. So with the support from my family, who attended Middle Tennessee State University, I knew that I was on the right path to carry out my goal on becoming a physical educator. I did achieve this goal through hard work and hands on experience.
While having a degree in Physical Education with a minor in Health, I decided not to teach. I had previous years of experience in working with people with disabilities. So, I became a case manager for people with Mental Retardation Developmental Disabilities (MRDD). My role is to ensure quality support care and training are being provided to individuals with disabilities in the implementation and delivery of person centered treatment services. Also to complete activities that are assigned by personnel in maintaining and environment, that is conductive to the individual's development of increased functioning and overall
