I would like to state the different aspects of ethics in the business world. Accounting will be the main focus of the ethical discussion in business. In the ever changing world accounting is one profession where accounting is at the highest of importance. Most businessmen young and old believe that there is no or little standard of ethics in the business world. Accountants must at all times withhold the highest standard of ethical acts of business.
One of the biggest problems is that people have the misconception that ethics consist of moral or political situations rather that honesty and integrity. Ethics is based on the honesty of people rather than whether is right or wrong. Ethical accounting is the base of free market and capitalism, without it the whole system would fall. People must understand that it is about being honest about your accounting not thinking whether it is right or wrong to tell what you want.
I plan to go into business world someday and would like to understand how things work. Accounting is my field of study currently with intentions to become a CPA. To achieve this I must understand ethical responsibility of that position and why it is important to the business
