Essay title: Random Comparison

It has been a major task trying to find something to compare and contrast... a

major task. But after just sitting and having a simple hamburger - the answer couldn't

have been any more clear. Two major, still growing, fast-food chains... Burger King and

McDonalds.' The questions have been asked, and many people agree and disagree on

which is the better of the two - and I plan to point out the matters. While Burger King and

McDonalds' do share similarities in menu choices, they also have differences in menu

items and price ranges.

Burger King and McDonald's are both simply put - fast food burger joints. They

both carry an arguementive same genre of items. They both have their 'Hey, look at me'

commercialized burger (BK with the Whopper, and MD with the Big Mac). As the years

progressed, each business has released several items at the time may have been exclusive

- but the latter always progressed with something to compete with it... such as chicken

nuggets, chicken sandwhiches, and such.

But then again, there are always them differences. McDonalds' has always offered

more of a plain selection.. hamburgers, fries, etc. Burger King, in some opinions, has

offered more of a "dinner" selection if you will. Ranging from bigger chicken

sandwhiches, and even use of a "grilled" look to them (which may be appealing to more

people in the long run). Eventually, yes, we reach back to our similarities - as in recent

times McDonalds' has released more of a so-called variety. They have released more

chicken sandwhiches, and released the 'premium salads.' But still the difference lays back

in the time of day category. McDonalds' menu and sandwhiches still seem more appealing

to a luncheon crowd - and BK with that dinner rush.
