Essay title: Romeo and Juliet
In life, people make a lot of different decisions, which have long reaching effects. In the play, “The tragedy of Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakespeare, the main characters Romeo and Juliet make different kinds of decisions along the way that led to conflicts and tragedy at the end. Throughout the play, they decide the hide their affair from their families, decide to run away from homes and they decide to commit suicide at the end of the play. The goal of their decisions is to be together as a couple at the very end.
The first decision that Romeo and Juliet have to make is to decide to hide their affair from their families. The reason why they need to hide it is because their families hate each other; they don’t get along. The two families won’t allow their family members to talk to the members of the other family; and therefore, Romeo and Juliet are not allowed to be seen together, not allowed to talk to each other, and even not allowed to be together as a couple. Even though Romeo and Juliet are deeply in love with each other, but due to the conflict between their own families, they are not allowed to be together. Therefore, they decide to hide it from their families and this is the first decision they make in the play.
The other decision Romeo and Juliet have to make in the play is to decide to run away from home. Because Romeo accidentally wounds Juliet’s cousin during a fight one day, his punishment is to get banish from the country forever. They couple gets
