Essay title: Scientific Report

Scientific Report

Performing scientific experiments and writing reports is an interesting task. Many people do not understand what important jobs scientists have because if it wasn’t for them, and what they do, we would not have all the information that we have access to. Having an assignment where a scientific study is to be conducted and a report written was a very exciting prospect, and deciding on a topic was also enjoyable. Weather has always been something of an interest, so completing a study on weather was very appealing. Lately, the warm weather has decided to show itself, so I wanted to take advantage of this and see how fast it could get warm throughout the day. Seeing as the weather has recently started to get warmer my experiment will revolve around the prospect of whether or not people who are standing in the same exact spot at the same time would feel differently if one of them was standing in the shade and one in the sunshine.

As people we all experience temperatures differently throughout the day, since our bodies and minds react differently to weather. There could be many people standing outside in the same place and feel differently. Some people are more able to keep up with the heat and some people take to the cold better. I placed both thermometers out at 6am in the morning on April 10th. Throughout the day I checked back at different times to see the changes.

The first time I checked was back in an hour and a half after the initial time I set it out. The thermometer that was in the shade was at 50 degrees and the thermometer that was beginning to be in the sunlight was at 52 degrees. This already showed me the difference the temperature. I jotted this information down and left. I came back around 1:30pm, by that time
