All humans have general conceptions

Adaptations or application to a particular cases will differ
Hold that it is possible for a presentation to be false (that it does not correspond to an external object) For them, a presentation that apprehends an becomes the criterion of truth, whereas the non-apprehensive presentation is an error.
Two species of presentation (apprehending a real object & not)
Man and Horse=corporeal
Any specific content= not corporeal
God=no human shape
Being in conformity with nature is a virtue
Virtue=harmonious disposition choice worthy for its on sake, without hope or fear from and external motive
Virtuous-in harmony with one's self and the universe/god
intrinsically valuable and should be pursued for its own sake
Happiness is not the goal of the exercise of the human will, but it is, nonetheless, a by-product of living according to nature
Virtuous is sufficient for happiness
Happiness=separation from evil
Avoidant of poverty and illness is irrelevant to happiness
Wealth, fame, health, and strength don't contribute
