Essay title: To Be Great Is to Be Misunderstood

“To Be Great Is To Be Misunderstood”

The quote that I chose for this essay is “ To be great is to be misunderstood.” I agree with this quote, and I believe that it applies to many people’s lives. This quote, as I interpreted it, means that if you want to be a great at what you do you might be misunderstood sometimes.

This quote applies to many famous people. For example Albert einstein was misunderstood in his life. He dropped out of high school which may not be considered such a great idea if you want to be an inventor. Although, he ended up inventing the atomic bomb which caused the destruction of Japan in world war II, and was considered one of the greatest inventions of all time. “ To be great is to be misunderstood” is a quote that might apply to all people that want to become great not only the famous people of the past.
