Essay title: Violence
This year I’m a sophomore at the University of Whitewater where I will be pursing my career in Sales and Marketing, but for right now I am a social work major. Next semester I will only be taking some classes that will be going towards my major. These courses are three to four credit courses. This means that my math class is going to be really difficult, and that I will have to utilize my time well and pay extra attention in class. After taking this Study Skills class I found many effective ways that will help me with my studying for these classes and hopefully do well in. Three of my strengths are studying well with others, getting things done at the last minute and I take good notes, and my weaknesses are procrastinating, not paying attention and I’m not good in math. In deems book
My first strength is working well others. I’m a people’s person and I love to voice and hear opinions. When I’m working in a group, or with another person, I often find myself working better and getting things done. A way that I will utilize my strength is by forming study groups or having a study buddy. By dong this it will help me a lot during my academic year and years to come.
My second strength is getting things done at the last minute. It speaks for itself I just do thing at the last minute and not a minute before. It’s not a good one but its mine, I couldn’t believe it myself. For some reason I always procrastinate assignments and papers, but they always get done before it due. I really need to get rid of the strength and find another, but it was the only one that I could think of. I don’t think I will utilize it in anyway, but I will change it.
My third strength is taking good notes. By this I mean I only write down what are important and key terms. Take my chapter notes for example those notes are good and well put together, how do I know? I get good grade on them. And also, there net and typed out right. And when in class my teacher put his notes up
