Drunk driving checkpoints I believe help the public because when you randomly stop driver you might catch someone that you might not have. It reflects public-order interests because drunk driving effects others not just the individual. This strategy is very effective in reducing crime. If you are convicted of three felonies you should definitely serve a life sentence. You didn’t learn your lesson after 3 times then you shouldn’t be allowed another. This effects public and individual rights depending on the crimes. This is somewhat effective in controlling crime. The only bad thing is that it’s after 3 times.
