Essay title: What Is Belief? What Is Religion? What Is Reality? What Is Life? Why Are We Here?
What is belief? What is religion? What is reality? What is life? Why are we here?
The basis of religion and belief is thought. Without thinking we probably would not exist. But we mightЎ Can it be that anything is possible? According to scientists we can only use a tiny portion of our brain. If we were able to use more what would we be able to do? I believe anything is possible. Just because something canЎЇt be explained doesnЎЇt mean itЎЇs unexplainable, it could just be unknown. If someone believes something contrary to you it doesnЎЇt mean theyЎЇre wrong, no, it just means there are more possibilities. An intelligent race should not be limited to one set of rules and laws. We can coexist with different societies, beliefs, abilities and ideals. Anyone has the right to believe or disbelieve what they want. When it comes down to it, No one is wrong, no one can prove that there is not a god, and no one can prove who that god may be. There may be a god, it is possible in this world of possibilities.
Life is what you make it. If you believe that your parentЎЇs past will mould your future then that possibility is much higher, if you believe that you will be rich then you have greater chance. Stop and think about what life isЎ what are you? It is possible that the entire existence of people is not an existence but in fact a thought. This is known as Idealism. Idealism deals with the belief that there is no physical world but in fact only a mental image of the world. There is no proof that this wrong, there is no proof that we exist. Life in itself is a paradoxically unreal experience. Some things that people witness but canЎЇt explain are put down to Ў®divine powersЎЇ but it is entirely possible that they themselves caused it. There is no proof that anything is wrong or right. Anything is possible.
That is Belief. That is religion. That is reality. That is life. That is why we are.
What can I do? What have I done? How has this made me? What do I want?
I am who I am and I believe what I do because of my life, as does everyone. I have experienced things I could not explain, things that ripped me apart and things that lifted me to the sky. Because IЎЇve been wandering through life not caring for religion itЎЇs brought me to a point of objectivity when I really do wonder which side is right and which is wrong. When I wonder Ў°Why is this the way it is?Ў± Because of my experiences and outlook on religion, I have been shaped by my beliefs so that I appreciate anything. I appreciate any music, any religion, any personality, any situation and any person. This is how I would like
