Alcohol Problems
In today’s world people think that they need alcohol to have a good time at a party, but that’s not true. It is now considered to be cool to drink till we’re unable to walk. One may say that alcohol is not dangerous, but then why do we have an age restriction on alcohol? We have an age restriction, because when consuming too much alcohol one doesn’t have control over oneself. Even though adults know that if they over consume alcohol they won’t have control over themselves yet they still do so. That is why alcohol in society should be banned to the public.
Alcohol is been known to be the key factor in most road accidents. When someone consumes an alcoholic beverage the alcohol in the beverage mixes with the blood, this results in the person not having control of what he/she says or does, also causes the person to not walk properly. As the percentage of alcohol in the body increase the person’s vision decreases. Say for example a drunken taxi driver was driving someone to his/her destination and meets with a horrifying accident. And the taxi driver somehow survives but the client in the back seat dies. Is this fair? No of course not and we can put a stop to this by banning alcohol. Banning alcohol would mean no drunken people and no accidents caused due to drunk driving.
Banning alcohol would mean a reduction in crime. There are times in life when we sometimes may say, “I’ll kill you” like when your dog ate your homework or if your brother/sister used your homework for colouring. You may tell them that you’re going to kill them but you know and they know that you don’t actually mean it. But when one is under the influence of alcohol he/she may not be aware of what he/she is doing or whether what they are doing is right or wrong. Picture a bar filled with a couple of drunken people and two of them got into an argument. Chances are they both will get in to a physical fight causing a riot and seriously injuring themselves since they are in no control of what they are doing they may also end up killing each other if there were no one to stop them. But one may say that even by not being under the influence of alcohol one
