Ancient Civilizations
Every civilization has their own unique way of contributing the modern world. These three ancient civilizations are located in Asia and were around before common era.
The first civilization is Mesopotamia. Major contributions were the pottery, metallurgy, the cuneiform, and the code of Hammurabi. As seen on document 1, the Summerians developed copper and brownze tools. With copper they created many tools, weapons, armor, and host other things. The pottery was hand-fashioned and over time they began to make plates, cups, and bowls. The cuneiform was the world's first writing which was created by the Summerians. The cuneiform led others to start their own style of writing as well. In document 2, it talks about Hammurabi's Code. It is somewhat like the 10 commandments, it is basically laws and the person who caused harm would pay back the same way as what was done to the victim.
The second civilization is China. Major contributions are paper, tea, iron and steel. As seen on document 5, the Chinese developed pictures to simplify objects, ideas, and parts of words. The writing used in China today is related to the photographic
