Being a Section Leader
For the past three years, I have observed the way that section leaders work with their section and how they help in many ways. I would love to have the opportunity to be someone like that. I believe I should be the bass drum section leader because I am responsible, helpful, and determined.
First, I believe that I should be bass drum section leader because I am responsible. In my life I have always cared about the way things turn out. I always try my hardest to get things right and to make them perfect. I am willing to give as much time as needed to help create a wonderful bass line. There is almost nothing I care more about for my senior year than having a successful bass line to make an even more successful drumline.
Next, I believe that I should be bass drum section leader because I am helpful. As you already know, I have given lessons to two aspiring bass drummers and they have excelled a lot since they began. Sadly one is moving to a different school, and I am willing to help at all costs to keep the bass line strong.
